Welcome to Babylon Hotel & Serviced Apartments ("Babylon," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website (www.babylonbd.com), your reservations, and your stay at our property. By making a reservation or staying with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Definitions
- "Guest," "you," "your" – any individual, group, or corporate entity making a reservation or staying at Babylon.
- "Hotel" / "Property" – Babylon Hotel & Serviced Apartments, House 319, Eastern Road, Baridhara DOHS, Dhaka 1206, Bangladesh.
- "Services" – accommodation, dining, car rental, tours, and other facilities offered by Babylon.
- "Room" – a hotel room unit at the Property.
- "Apartment" – a serviced apartment unit at the Property.
2. Services Offered
Babylon offers fully furnished serviced apartments and hotel rooms for short-term and long-term stays in Baridhara DOHS, Dhaka — one of the city's most secure, well-planned neighbourhoods. Our facilities include high-speed Wi-Fi, daily housekeeping, 24/7 security, dining, car rental, airport transfers, and tour services. As a CQE Geneva Award Winner (2012) and QC100 certified property, we are committed to consistent quality and professional service standards.
3. Booking & Reservations
3.1 How to Book
Reservations can be made via our website (www.babylonbd.com), by phone/WhatsApp at +8801974225555, or by email at info@babylonbd.com.
3.2 Booking Confirmation
An advance payment of 50% of the total booking amount is required to confirm a reservation. Reservations are not guaranteed until this advance is received and confirmed in writing.
3.3 Guest Identification
Upon booking, guests must provide valid government-issued photo identification. Foreign nationals must provide a valid passport and visa. These documents may be submitted to our designated WhatsApp number or via email.
3.4 Special Requests
Requests for specific room types, bedding configurations, floor preferences, or accessibility requirements should be communicated at the time of booking. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate these, but they cannot be guaranteed.
3.5 Group Bookings
Group reservations (multiple rooms or apartments) are subject to separate terms. Please contact us directly for a customised group rate and conditions.
3.6 Third-Party Bookings
If your reservation is made via a third-party platform (e.g., Booking.com, Expedia), the terms of that platform will apply to payments and cancellations. Babylon's policies will govern the terms of your actual stay.
4. Payment

4.2 Currency & Taxes
All charges are processed in BDT unless otherwise agreed. Applicable government taxes and service charges are included in the quoted price. There are no hidden fees.
4.3 Remaining Balance
The outstanding balance is due upon check-in, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing. For extended stays, periodic payment schedules may apply.

Early check-in / late check-out: Subject to availability and may incur an additional charge. Please request in advance.
Identification at check-in: All guests occupying a room or apartment must present valid government-issued photo ID upon arrival. Foreign nationals must present a passport with a valid visa.
Keys: Room and apartment keys are issued at check-in and must be returned at check-out. A fee of BDT 500–1,000 applies for lost keys.

Advance non-refundableModifications: Booking changes are subject to availability and current rates. Significant modifications may be treated as a cancellation and re-booking. To cancel or modify, contact us through your original booking channel or directly via phone/WhatsApp.
7. Guest Responsibilities & Conduct
7.1 Occupancy Limits
The number of occupants must not exceed the stated capacity for each room or apartment type (typically 1–6 guests). Additional guests are not permitted without prior authorisation.
7.2 Visitors
Guests are responsible for their visitors. For security purposes, all visitors must register at the front desk. Unregistered overnight visitors are not permitted.
7.3 Noise & Conduct
Guests must not disturb other guests or residents. Excessive noise is prohibited, particularly between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Babylon reserves the right to ask guests to vacate the premises for persistent disturbances.
7.4 Damage to Property
Guests are liable for any damage caused to the property, rooms, apartments, furnishings, or equipment by themselves, their children, or their visitors. Babylon reserves the right to charge guests for all reasonable repair or replacement costs.
7.5 Smoking Policy
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all rooms and apartments. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas or on private balconies where applicable. A deep-cleaning fee will be charged if this policy is violated.
7.6 Illegal Activities
The use of hotel property for any illegal purpose is strictly prohibited. Babylon will cooperate fully with law enforcement authorities as required by law.
7.7 Pets
Pets are not permitted on the premises unless prior written permission has been granted by management. Specific conditions and fees may apply where permission is given.
8. Hotel Rights & Management
8.1 Right to Refuse Service
Babylon reserves the right to refuse accommodation or services to any guest for reasons including intoxication, disorderly behaviour, breach of these Terms, or any conduct that poses a risk to other guests or staff.
8.2 Right of Entry
Authorised Babylon staff may enter rooms and apartments for housekeeping, maintenance, security inspections, or emergency response. We will provide reasonable notice except in emergencies.
8.3 Security
The property operates 24/7 CCTV surveillance and employs trained security personnel. Guests are nevertheless advised to secure their personal valuables and use the in-room safety deposit boxes provided.
9. Facilities & Services
Wi-Fi
Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi for all guests. Must not be used for illegal or malicious activities.
Parking
Free outdoor parking on a first-come, first-served basis. Secured indoor parking available at BDT 500/night, subject to availability. Vehicles are parked at the owner's risk.
Housekeeping
Daily housekeeping for short stays. Scheduled cleaning for long stays as agreed at check-in.
Dining
On-site dining available. Room service operates 7 AM–12 AM (pre-orders required after 10 PM). Vegetarian, Halal, and Gluten-free options available with advance notice.
Luggage Storage
Complimentary luggage storage available. Babylon is not liable for loss or damage to stored items beyond a reasonable period.
Accessibility
Wheelchair-accessible rooms are available on the ground floor. Please communicate accessibility requirements at the time of booking.
Tours & Transfers
Dhaka city tours, domestic and international travel packages, and airport transfers are available at additional charges and subject to separate terms.
Meeting Rooms
Meeting and conference facilities are available for corporate guests at additional charges and subject to availability.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Babylon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your stay or use of our services.
Babylon's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by the guest for the specific booking giving rise to the claim.
Babylon is not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings unless caused by the gross negligence or wilful misconduct of our staff. Guests are strongly encouraged to use in-room safety deposit boxes and to obtain appropriate travel insurance.
Babylon shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, utility failures, pandemics, or acts of war (Force Majeure).
11. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms and Conditions, and any disputes arising from them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
12. Amendments
Babylon reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our website or services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
