How do I pay to reserve the apartment?

Cash ($, Pound, Taka) or Advice your Credit Card Details to secure your room/ apartment.

We accept: Visa, Master, Maestro, American Express etc.

Payment Amount:

For Yearly contract:     1 month rent in advance + 3 month rental of Refundable Security Deposit is required.

For Monthly contract:  1 month rent in advance+ Tk. 25,000 Refundable Security Deposit is required.

For less than a Month contract: Full Payment + 50% of rent for Security Deposit.

Is the price quoted per person or for the whole apartment?
- The rate is per night for the whole apartment, NOT per person

Are sheets and towels included in the price?
- Yes

Are there any hidden costs, (for example heating bills, taxes)?
- $30 Electricity Bill is included per month (Based on meter reading). Gas, Water, Cable Connection, 1 PC wifi connection is included within the rent.

You just pay for any extra service or product you order. Ex: Laundry, Gym, Food order, Washing, Housekeeping.

Is breakfast included in the price?
- Breakfast is not included. But can be provided from our 165 items food menu. Or $7++ English or Continental Breakfast.

What is your cancellation policy?
·        Less than 15 days notice: Full payment will be charged.

           ·        More than 15 days notice:50% of the payment will be refunded

How do I get from the airport/ railway station to the apartment?
- Simply confirm us by email or call if you would like to take our Airport Transfer service. Guests for more than 7 Days contract get complementary Airport Pickup from 9 am – 9 pm.

Or, take a taxi and ask the driver to go to Baridhara DOHS (Behind Hotel Radisson). Once you are at Baridhara DOHS, turn to left side (East side) of Lane No # 4 and the apartment is at the end of lane # 4 on the Eastern Road. You will notice a big signboard of Babylon Garden on the 1st floor.

What if my flight is delayed?
- Please let us know as early as possible and we will try to send the car on your requested time. In case you cannot communicate with us, please call us while reaching at airport and we will try to send you car within 20 minutes if available.

What are the check in and check out time?
- Check-in time is after 1 pm & Check-out time is by 12 pm. If you have an early check-in time or wish to depart later, please inform our Apartment Manager.

Can I leave luggage with you?
- Luggage can be left with us free for 3 hours if you have a late departure, or if you go away for a few days and wish to come back to one of our apartments. Just ask!

Where do I pick up (and return) the keys?
- Apartment Manager will give you the keys once the full payment (Rent + Deposit) has been made, as well as showing you the basic layout of the apartment. Keys can be return to only at the Babylon Office.

I've lost my keys! What do I do?
- Please contact us immediately. The charge for lost keys is $7 per key to cover the damage or $40+ incase of changing lock.

Do the apartments have safes?
- The apartments has wardrobe with keys. You can use it if you feel its safe enough. We do not suggest you to leave any valuable item when you are not in the apartment.

Do the apartments have kitchens?
- All of our apartments have kitchens or kitchenettes, with cooking utensils, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, 2 burner stove etc.

Do the apartments have private bathrooms?
- All apartments have their own bathrooms.

Do the apartments have internet?
- Broadband wireless internet (wifi connection) is available in all of our apartments.

Are the apartments available for long-term rental?
- All our apartments are available for long-term rental at much discounted attractive rates. If you wish to rent for a period longer than one month, please try to reserve the apartment as early as possible to ensure the availability of the apartment.

Is there a reception or someone we can contact in case of an emergency?
- In case of emergency, please contact the following ways:

i)       Call one of the mobile numbers which are written on your apartment keys or has been hanged on the kitchen wall.

ii)      Call the security pressing 100 from the intercom.

iii)    Visit at Babylon Office on the 2nd floor.

How much is the cleaning charge?
- Upon request we can arrange cleaning service @ $10++ / visit.

What are the local amenities near from the apartments? Are there any entertainments and shops?

-   With fine landscaping of DOHS Baridhara (Diplomatic Zone - Behind Hotel Radisson), walking distance from supermarket, charming amusement park, transportation and less than 7-10 minutes drive from the Airport, Gulshan, Banani, shopping complex, superstores and expatriate clubs etc.

3: How early should I make a reservation?

Ans: As early as possible paying 100% of the total amount. This will allow us to prepare your tour effectively well in advance.                                         

4: What is the average age of an adventure tour?

Ans: 20 to 35 Years.

5: What extra features can a tour have?

Ans: If no time restrictions, we might offer you to visit some nearby sightseeing, shopping centers, theatres, offer extra food menu etc.

6: Which type of arrangement do you offer?

Ans: Hotel, Food, Sightseeing, Car/ Vehicle rental, Visa Services, Package Tours, Airline Tickets etc.

7: Do you provide transfer service from air port to others places?

Ans: Yes, certainly we do offer car/micro/jeep services to transfer from and to airport. Please inform us well in advance if you had required the service.

8: What is the best time of year to travel?

Ans: Bangladesh has got specialty of 6 seasons, each of the seasons has got its own beauty and diversifications.

i)                    Sep to Mar: Winter * Fresh food (Honey, Traditional Cake), fresh vegetable, Juice (date), Traditional Fare (Export fare, village fare etc).

ii)                   Apr to Aug: Rain, Greenish, Fruits (Mango, Jack Fruit), Festivals (Eid, Bengali happy New Year etc).

9: How many people are on a tour?

Ans: We are good enough to handle any size tour package. Remember that the larger the size of the group reduces the cost.

10: How do I make change in my reservation?

Ans: We are happy to amend any reservation according to our Terms & Conditions.

11: Do you offer group tour or discount?

Ans: Yes, depends on size cost reduces.

12: If I have a medical caudation, do I need to advice before I book the trip or go on a tour?

Ans: Yes, please inform us. And that we will be prepared for you.

13: Can I bring my children? Is there a young discount?

Ans: Yes, discount will depend on where you are traveling, age of children & class of Accommodation & Transportation.

14: What happens if there is bad weather?

Ans: We will inform you about any cancellation or any amendment as early as possible. If we somehow cannot mange the tour within two months time, we will refund 95% of total amount.

15: Is there a rout map for the tour?

Ans: Yes, we well provide you.

16:  Can we change the itinerary/package?

Ans: Yes, with valid reason and depends on the decision of our travel consultants.

17: Should I get insurance?

Ans: Contract us, we recommend you to have one.

18: Can your company give me visa support?

Ans: Yes, we do so. We have a good connection with most of the embassies.

19: What is & is not included in the price?

Ans: Detail description will be provided in your tour package.

20: Where should I go?

Ans: Please consult with our Tour Consultant for any expert advice or suggestion to recommend you about the best destinations.


21: What shouldn’t l do?

Ans: Tourists must remember some things that they should not do. First of all, do not take any picture of people without their permission. Secondly, do not enter any temple or mosques in short dress (specially women) or with shoes.


22: What shouldn’t I eat?

Ans: Tourists should not eat anything from road side café. Also try to drink mineral water or can drinks.


23: How can I have membership & what will be the benefits?

Ans: There are 2 ways to become a member of Babylon Tours & Travels.

i) We offer corporate agreement from recognized organizations to become our member.

ii) We also offer premium membership to our prominent regular basis clients who exceed our benchmark of purchasing at least 2 services per year locally or internationally.


The members will get the following services complementary:

24: Can I have travel loan & how?

 Ans: Yes, we can arrange you travel loan from our associated banks. Please contact us.


25: What are the local payment methods?

Ans: Preferably by Taka, $, £, € are also widely used currencies. ($1 = Tk. 73.5; September 2010). 

26: What are the international payment methods?

28: What is the best way to take money with traveler?

Ans: a) Traveler’s cheque.

        b) Debit/ Credit card- Visa/ Master/ Maestro/ DBBL Nexus

        c) Cash up to $ 2,000.

        d) Bank transfer (To any local known person).

29: What currency should I bring?

Ans: $, £, € and convert to Taka when you are in Bangladesh.

30: Is my money refundable if I have cancelled my trip?

Ans:   a) If informs 07 Days before Commencement of the journey = $

 will be charged.

           b)   If inform 05 Days before Commencement of the journey =             will be charged.

           c) If inform Less than 04 Days or 96 hours of the journey = No amount of money will   be   refunded.

31: How much is an extra night?

Ans: Depends on the place or standard of package (Accommodation, Transportation etc).
